Bill and Emma work with pet groomers at all stages of their business — from solo groomers trying to regain control, to established salons ready to grow sustainably.

Their coaching style is practical, supportive, and grounded in the real challenges groomers face every day. This session is simply a chance to meet them, hear how they work, and decide if it feels like the right fit for you.

 

Bill Betts

Emma, my wife, is the Pet Groomer and founded A-Z Animal Care Ltd in 2005. At the time of Emma going into the venture I was a full time Police Officer.

I started to get more involved in the business over time.

We had a beast of a business and I was tasked with the administration side of things. Writing staff handbooks, contracts, social media, websites, advertising it was very overwhelming and I suffered from imposter syndrome.

We decided to take on a mentor.

This mentorship was life changing! We made many changes in our Pet Grooming business and our mindset.

This quickly showed us we could move forward in our business. I started to deliver business training to pet groomers and so Pet Passion To Profit was born in December 2020.

Emma Betts

Emma began her career in the pet care industry at just 12 years old, volunteering at her local veterinary practice before progressing to a trainee veterinary nurse role while still at school. After completing her A Levels, she qualified as a Veterinary Nurse through Myerscough College, gaining valuable experience across several practices.

Seeking greater fulfilment, Emma made a bold career change into dog grooming, founding A-Z Animal Care after completing a professional grooming course. Over 22 years, she built A-Z into a successful, respected business.

Now stepping into a mentoring role after passing the business on to a long-standing team member, Emma brings decades of hands-on experience, industry insight, and practical support to help groomers grow with confidence in an ever-evolving industry. She knows first hand the challenges groomers and business owners face.
